Q&A

1.) Who are some of your favorite people to follow on Instagram?

@Ladzinski, @ballinbu, @buttsnorkler, @itsabandoned, @tetongravity, @vitalfilms, @discreteclothing, @kalenthorien, @chriburkard are a few of my favs but not even close to all of them!

2.) What have been some of your toughest challenges this past season? How did you overcome them?

I bruised my heel early in March which essentially shut my season down. I was back skiing two days later tho, on one ski! I obviously couldnt film or have even half the fun, but I was still out there sharing laughs and sunshine with my friends! I also really held on to the late ski season because I was feeling better and could ski on two skis, so I that helped.

3.) You just finished your 2nd season filming with TGR. How has it progressed you as a skier?

It was actually my third! I somehow shoe'd my way in there three years ago and that was my big break. filming with TGR has progressed my career in a major way giving me exposure. It has progressed me as a skier by giving me the chance to ski in rad locations with rad skiers like Sage and Dash amongst all the other rad crew.

4.) Favorite Discrete product?

ALL MESH hats are so dope!

5.) Favorite thing to do outside of skiing?

Climbing hands down. I love the sport as a closer second to skiing then I ever though a sport could get. It is a mental and physical challenge with an open end for progression.

6.) When and where did you learn to ski? Who did you learn from?

My Parents got me on the hill at the age of 3 in Aspen Colorado. on the kiddy slopes of Buttermilk I learned to pizza and french fry and fell in love with the french fries.

7.) Which athletes did you admire most growing up, and who do you look up to now?

I grew up with a love for skiing and got to watch the progression of freesking from the age of 10-15 or something like that. Those years when the Salomon 1080 was the hottest shit ever. I looked up to alot of rad skiers around my home mountain like Austin Ramaley and Steele Spence. I also loved watching the 3 phils, JF cusson, Boyed Easely and that whole crew just throwing down with rawstyle in those early PBP films. I look up to all the people I ski with that help talk me through things and I love just watching the way they pick out the lines they want to ski, for the camera. Sage, Dash, Dana, Tim D, Dylan Hood have all been a big help to me learning the film game. Reggie Christ was a real help to me my first trips to AK walking me through lines step by step pointing out the things that could take me out.
